I interrupt this series ...

... to say that I was unaware, until just now, that Barry L. Beyerstein died less than a month ago, at the relatively young age of sixty.

In case anyone thinks I timed this series of posts to follow on the heels of his passing ... I didn't. I'd never heard of Dr. Beyerstein until I tracked down the article I'm critiquing.

I'm disabling comments on this particular post, since there is really nothing more to say, except to offer best wishes to Dr. Beyerstein's family and friends.
