Dammit - you've ruined all those sitcoms for me! Especially Seinfeld, King of Queens and Andy Griffith!

I'm going to go tell my husband! ...Wait a minute...

What are all those jars doing under our bed?

Those jars? Just the carcasses of the sitcoms that jumped the shark and fell into the abyss.

There is a subject you can write on that is better than sitcoms.

You seem to believe in the afterlife. Do you believe that our time on earth is intended to help us develop higher qualities like love and forgiveness?

A lot of fiction today glorifies negative values like greed, revenge, violence, cruelty, dishonesty.

As a published novelist, you must have a wonderful talent and the ability to get the attention of many people.

I haven't read your novels so I don't know if you need this suggestion or not, but even within the suspense novel format you couldn't you use your talent to write fiction that also teaches people about spirituality and glorifies spiritual values like tolerance, honesty, forebearance, forgiveness, and love?

>Do you believe that our time on earth is intended to help us develop higher qualities like love and forgiveness?

Yes ... but we can also have some fun while we're at it!

>couldn't you use your talent to write fiction that also teaches people about spirituality and glorifies spiritual values

Maybe. But I'm not a big fan of fiction that tries to teach lessons. I think the purpose of escapist entertainment is to provide some relief from the dull daily grind. See Sullivan's Travels.
