Shiver!

Shiver, the first psychological thriller I ever wrote, is now available in a Kindle edition for $2.99.

The book was a modest bestseller in its print version, going through four editions. It was recently made into an independent film by producer Robert D. Weinbach. The film's release is not yet scheduled, but should be sometime this year.

I wrote Shiver under my old pen name Brian Harper. Another book from my Brian Harper days, Mortal Pursuit, is currently on sale in both Kindle and Nook formats for 99 cents.

Since I'm flogging my ebooks, I'll add that Riptide, a suspense novel about a woman who discovers a family connection with Jack the Ripper, is available as a Nook and a Kindle for 99 cents.

A Nook edition of Shiver will be along shortly.

More Facebookitude

I'm slowly figuring out this Facebook thing. Gotta say, it's not as intuitive as it could be. Anyhow, I've finally secured a username for my promotional page - the one that hawks my books.

Tell all your friends, enemies, relatives, acquaintances, and any random strangers you pass on the street to visit me at:

After seeing The Social Network, I'm starting to feel like I sold my soul to the devil just by signing up for Facebook. On the other hand, it does seem to have boosted sales of my ebooks. So on the negative side, there's the prospect of eternal damnation, but on the plus side, there are a few more bucks in my bank account.

Kind of a draw.

Facebookery

After years of resistance, I've given in to the inevitable. I am now on Facebook. (Their motto: You Will Be Assimilated.)

My homepage is here. I invite you to friend me.

Uck, I hate using "friend" as a verb.

I also have fan page where I promote my books, but I haven't figured out how to link to that. If anyone knows, please clue me in.

Oh, speaking of promoting my books ...

My 1998 thriller Mortal Pursuit, originally published under the pen name Brian Harper, is now available as an ebook in both Kindle and Nook editions.

My recently self-published novel Riptide is still available in print and as a Kindle edition, and has now been put out in a Nook edition also.

My 1992 novel Shiver, published under the Brian Harper name, has been filmed as an indie feature, and will be released (probably directly to video) later this year. I'll release print, Kindle, and Nook editions of Shiver to coincide with the movie's release.

Details on all the above can be found on my author website.

... to listen to Marcel Cairo's Internet radio show, with your humble correspondent as the guest.

The show airs at 7:00 PM Eastern Time tonight (Tuesday). That's 6 PM Central, 5 PM Mountain, 4 PM Pacific for the geographically and/or mathematically challenged (and you know who you are).

Onward ... to glory or humiliation!

(Hey, it turns out I'm actually pretty good at this self-promotional stuff. Maybe I should do a little of it to promote my books - my actual, you know, livelihood - sometime.)
