Love it. I coach writers and because I'm also published and have an agent, I hear this sort of nonsense all the time. Wannabe writer: "How can I get an agent?" Me: "Have you finished your novel?" Wannabe: "No." Me: "You might want to get through about six drafts before you even consider querying an agent, and no, you can't have my agent's number."
Michael, is there a more mythologized profession than ours?
