Ghost photos
Some of these are interesting. Turn off the slide show and advance the the pics manually so you have time to read the captions.
Creepiest photo: number twelve. (At least that's my vote.)
Do I think these are genuine? I imagine that some are. Others are probably hoaxes or, in a couple of cases, tricks of the light.
As far as hoaxes go, the Boothill Cemetery shot looks especially suspicious to me.
Fun stuff, anyway, and presented without the media's usual snark.
I "like" number 11 the most. Reminds me of that freaky sleep paralysis thing, and why I slept with the lights on for sometime. But it is the best time to be a bit uneasy. Thanks for the post.

#3 & #7 are the most impressive to me. #10 & #11 seem the most likely to be hoaxes. If it's legitimate, #15 gets my vote as the creepiest. Although it's probably a fake, the scariest 'ghost photo' I've ever seen was a shot from the Amityville house. A group of mediums did a walkthrough survey of the home while a photographer followed them. All of the shots turned out normal except one. Off to the side in one photo a child is seen peering out of a darkened room with glowing eyes, although no children were purported to be present at the time. Type 'Amityville Ghost' in Google Image to see for yourself. Real or not, it still scared the hell out of me.

I like photo number #3, the picture of Freddy Jackson. Like he didn't know he was dead. Got smacked by an airplane propellor. Probably happened pretty fast and just knocked his soul right out of his body before he even knew what was happening? Pretty durn funny. I wonder if it's real? Sure would be fun to know for real but I guess we won't till we get there ourselves. - Art

I just thought of something. Speaking of dying and not knowing your dead; which I've read sometimes happens, I wonder how long someone can hang around in the physical before "decoherence" causes them to dissipate into nothingness, or someone from the Spiritual Universe comes and "rescues" them? Another words what I'm asking is I wonder if Freddy Jackson is still hanging around that hanger or if he's moved on into the Light? Whenever you read about ghosts they are usually relatively recent - speaking in absolute terms. Like at Gettysburg, or in some house or something. Rarely do you hear of people seeing ghosts of ancient Greece or Rome, or even going further back like to Egypt or Ancient Babylon? I wonder if those people have all moved on and their ghosts aren't hanging around any longer? What would be the absolute maximum that a ghost could "haunt" the Physical Universe before it absolutely had to move on? I've read ADC stories of people seeing dead relatives (Dr. Louis LeGrand "After Death Communication", and "Hello From Heaven") where the spirit says something to the effect that they can't stay there very long and they have to leave. Decoherence? Quantum Physics? Holographic Projections? It will be fun when we know the answers. - Art

there is a very popular thai movie called 'Shutter'
http://imdb.com/title/tt0440803/
about photographing ghostly images.
highly recommended if you like a good horror movie. supposedly some of pictures used in the movie were real as well.
hollywood is also making a US version of this movie. i doubt it'll be any better.

Well this is spooky . Only yesterday my husband bought me a book at a second hand book shop. It's called The Encyclopedia of Ghosts and Spirits Vol 2 by John and Anne Spencer.Photo No3 is in the book. I showed it to my husband and said "This is my favourite ghost photo".Today I see it on here!
I do believe it's genuine.
Ever since my dog died 2 weeks ago I have been having a series of synchronicities.I was very distressed and I believe "someone" is trying to comfort me.
I certainly feel comforted anyway.
I do agree some of the photographs look faked though.

According to Dr. Carl Jung and Michael Talbot synchronicities tend to cluster times of changes or breakthrough in our lives. It's like the Universe is trying to tell us something. I hope in your case it's something to the effect that this life is not all there is and your dog will be patiently waiting for you on the other side.

Yes indeed Art. If we can create our own reality in the afterlife that will surely happen :)
