Now that TV Guide has stopped including local listings (which was, if I'm not mistaken, the entire raison d'etre of TV Guide), I've searched for an Internet service that will fill the void. I tried Yahoo TV listings - too slow and clunky. Tried TV Guide.com's listings - took forever to load. Tried Zap2it.com - also slow.
Then I found Meevee. It's fast and free. (Well, the upgraded service costs money, I guess, but the basis service is zero-cost.) And it works great!
If you're looking for local TV listings, check it out.
Okay, I meant to write "basic" service.

MP, try excite.com. They have a free website (it used to be my homepage) that has a great TV guide program, one you can customize to your personal needs. The only problem being the popups. Unless you have a good popup blocker, which I do, it may be more trouble than it's worth.

Thanks, Carol. I forgot all about Excite, even though I used to visit that site frequently. I do have a good popup blocker, so that's no problem.

I'm lost.

Hi, Jake. What do you mean you're lost?

Lost? Go to this URL and enter your ZIP code:
http://www.excite.com/tv/data.jsp?nl=1
Then select your cable/satellite provider, and you'll be looking at your listings.

Thanks, Miss Carol. I will do that.
A whole new world is opening up for me.

I mean, thanks, Carol for worried about my lostness. And thanks, MP, for straightening up the TV thing.
Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my lobotomy now.
